EEB 2244W
Fall 2008

Announcement (Sept. 3, 2008):
The UConn Librarian Carolyn Mills will teach a series of training sessions for EEB 2244W students. The class will cover appropriate databases to use, how to construct and modify searches, how to locate full text results, and where to get help with vocabulary and concepts for reading primary literature research articles. One of the course instructors will attend each session, and will answer any questions students have about 2244W assignments. You can go to any of the sessions (it does not matter who your instructor is). However, be aware that attendance is limited to 24 persons; so come early: first come - first served.

Here is the schedule of sessions (all sessions in LIC 2):

Thursday, Sept 4 from 1 to 2:30 pm (Turchin)

Monday, Sept 8 from 10:30 to 12 (Urban)

Tuesday, Sept 9 from 9:30 to 11 (Elphick)

*** Additional training session: Thursday, Sept 11 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm
